Make Sense

This book mainly who the God is.

If we think of the Lord as a kindness,

it will result in misunderstanding

the characteristics of the God.

 

 

The God is the one who can

 help solve all the troubles

of the human nature

 

 

and only to die on the cross

with curses and ill treatment. 

 

 

But when we know the

God as a patient Lord,

 

 

the God will show his plan,

the God tests the christians

with troubles and pains,

 

 

but to also provide a way out

so that we can stand up under it. 

 

 

The characteristic of the book

is to introduce that kind of

God’s characteristics.

 

 

Which is not the kindness

but the patient. 

 

 

If we know him as the only

kind God, he looks like a

trouble-shooter who

can help

 

 

and give comfort to the people

suffering from sadness

and painfulness,

 

 

but when he is introduced

as a patient God, he can provide

our way when we are tempted. 

 

 

He will make our sou; happy

and peaceful no matter

what situation will be 

 

 

and he will test us to purify

 the dirt into fine gold by 

throwing us to the burning

fireplace as his child. 

 

 

Through this book,

I could reduce and answer

many questions that 

don’t make sense. 

 

 

Since I have believed

in the God, I have got several

questions to myself. 

 

 

“Why does it happen?”

And then I came to realize that

both belief and fear couldn’t be

together as light and shadow. 

 

 

I remember the examples

that the author introduced

what he had experienced,

 

 

I have decided to encourage

the people around me to be

 courageous through

those example. 

 

 

It is also a good chance

to remind me of my dreams

and visions by applying

fundamental principle

leant from this book.

 

 

I am sure that this book

suggests the insight of God’s

intention to the sufferer that

is struggling under the chaos. 

 

 

When I visited in Korea one day,

one of my friends asked me,

“Why is it happening to me? 

 

 

Instead of answering,

I bought him a book,

 

 

“When God Doesn’t

make Sense.”

 

 

In the end, he confessed that

he had great comfort after

reading this book. 

 

 

And said

 

 

“Don’t the good people

 have many troubles

in the world?”

 

 

Whenever they are in trouble,

they also have strong powers

from the Lord to overcome

the situations.

 

 

There won’t be any more

problems if the Lord walks with us,

as he himself made every event;

he also knows how to solve

it in his time.

 

 

“But he knows the way I take,

when he has tested me,

I will come forth as gold.”

(Job 23:10)

 

 

Please let me be tested

to be gold in this training. 

 

 

The highlight of the book is

a way that introduces God,

 

 

not only God of sweetness

but the one who provide 

refugee and endures.

 

 

When God is

viewed as the sweet one,

he becomes as a problem solver

 

 

and the reason for all comforts

to christians who go through

valley of sorrow and sobering.

 

 

However, if God is viewed

as the one who provides

refugee and endures,

 

 

he becomes one fumbles

with His mighty hand to find us

and brings up our spirit not only

by happiness but also sorrow. 

 

 

He also becomes the one

who put us to the pot to

eliminate mpurities 

in order to make us

as pure gold.

 

 

When gold and silver gold

are mixed together

and hit by hammer,

 we huddle ourselves up. 

 

 

Because we don’t know,

after endless hammering,

the beautiful colour of

platinum shines out.

 

 

Through this book meeting God

and having fellowship with

God become my routine. 

 

 

The number of questions

“Why?” Dramatically reduced,

I’ve realised that as light

 

 

and shadow can not exist

in one place, so as fear can

not coexist with faith. 

 

 

I recall underlining many

sentences from the book

as I agree with the contents 

from my experience.

 

 

Now I promise myself to

encourage people by applying

the contents to other people’s life.

 

 

It was an opportunity to recap

basic principles of overcoming

problems and reassuring

my dream and vision. 

 

 

Although those with faith

the insights of knowing

where God’s will are,

 

 

they can be suffered from

the realm of chaos

 

 

and I realised that this book

suggests the answer to them. 

 

 

While I visited

Korea for a short time,

 

 

I suggested and bough the book

to someone who asked me.

 

 

“Why God did that to me? “

 

 

Once he finished the reading,

he questioned from the question

of the conclusion of the book,

 

 

“The righteous men suffer a lot?”

and smiled to me as the verse

was a big console to him. 

The righteous cry out, 

and the LORD hears them;

 he delivers them from 

all their troubles.

 

 

The LORD is close to the

 brokenhearted and saves those

 who are crushed in spirit.

 

 

A righteous man may have 

many troubles, but the LORD 

delivers him from them all; 

(Psa 34:17-19)

 

 

I would like to say in addition

of his conclusion.

 

 

“Yes, however the prayer

of a righteous manis

powerful and effective.” 

 

 

The Bible say

 

 

"Therefore confess your sins

to each other and pray

for each other so that

you may be healed.

 

 

The prayer of a righteous man

is powerful and effective.

(Jam 5:16)

 

 

If God is with us no other problems

or circumstance ate big as long as

we know he is the one who plans

all events in our lives

 

 

and accompany with us.

I receive great comfort

day by day, 

 

 

“But he knows the way

that I take; when he has tests me,

I will come forth as gold.”

(Job 23:10) 

 

 

God, refine me for your time!

In this desert of everyday life!
