    Descendants Of Cain57

    [Gen 4:16-26]

    / Anne's Faith Column

    / By Priscilla

    Even though Cain sinned,

God poured out his love on him

    and blessed his descendants

    to prosper.

    However,

    among his descendants,

    there were also people like

    Lamech, who had forgotten

    God and had been corrupted.

    Cain, who sinned,

    lived a life of wandering,

but God, who loves all people,

showed love to him as well.

    God not only protected Cain

from harm by putting a mark

    on Cain's forehead,

    but also blessed

    his descendants

    and gave each of them

a special talent so that they

could use it in their lives.

    Righteous God!

God rich in love and grace!

    Even today, the love

    of our Heavenly Fathe

    r equally comes upon

    all those who are related

    with me by blood.

    For my dear Abba Father,

    what should I do first?

I must become a child of God

and a soldier of God who

    is always ready like

    Gideon’s warrior

    and runs swiftly

    when the signal from

    Him comes to me.

I must not act like 'Lamech',

    who spurned God's grace

    and was corrupted

     ethically and morally.

    Now, God’s will for allowing

    ‘Seth’ and the emergence

    of descendants who worship

    God from Adam’s genealogy

    are the determination,

    providence, and love of the

     Father toward mankind.

    God vividly burned the

    flame of hope that 'Seth'

    who feared Him would

    become 'the ancestors

    of Jesus Christ'.

    God enlightens humans

    about God's providence,

    'A bruised reed he will

    not break, and a smoldering

wick he will not snuff out, till

    he leads justice to victory.'

    (Matt 12:20)

Even me the weakest of us.

    From now on,

    like the prodigal son

    who returned to the Lord

    with a more humble heart,

I must become a faithful child

    who serves God with utmost

    sincerity and joy.

I have to live with the joy,

    living hope, and overwhelming

    emotions that spring up

    with vitality every day.

    And above all else, we

    need to remind ourselves

    of the impression of

    our first love with the

    Lord each day.

    My faith will gradually

be matured, and I will not

    lose heart until I reach

     the stage of sanctification

    in a glorious way,

    putting on the clothes

    of the righteousness

that the Lord has given me

in the great grace of God.

    Therefore,

    we must accept the suffering

we face as a gain and never

    hesitate to share in the

    sufferings of Jesus Christ.

    I want to

    become a true child

    who learns patience

    in any environment,

and on the day the Lord

    calls me, I earnestly hope

     to be a person who

     shouts 'Marananta!'

    -(Come, O Lord!)

    I have no doubts, believing

that I, who is always weak

    before the Lord, will be

     born again every day with

     the power of the Lord

    and will become

    an instrument of the Lord

    used at every moment.

What should I do for that?

    1) As a descendant of

     Abraham, the father of faith,

I must be honest and humble

with the Lord as I am

    and become a person

    who always learns

     from Jesus and put it

    into practice.

    2) I will use the talents

the Lord has given me to

    the fullest and use them

    generously for the

    kingdom of God.

    3) My beliefs should be

    built from the strengths

    and weaknesses of their lives

    through their ancestors.

    Prayer

    Lord!

    I am impressed that

    you see me generously

    with the eyes of faith

    and love me.

    Amen
