    Paul And Timothy 43

    [2 Peter 3:18]

    / Anne's Faith Column

    / By Priscilla

    Paul had a deep heart

    for Timothy, so he

    prayed for him,

    and for his beloved

    disciple, he wrote

    several letters of

     encouragement and

    comfort to him.

    The relationship

    between Paul and Timothy

    makes us feel the fellowship

    between a teacher

    and a disciple,

    and the love between

    a father and a son.

    Paul's passion for the

    mutual expectation,

    love, interest, and

    teaching between

    the spiritual nurturer

    and the trainee

    as well as their close

    spiritual relationship

     is truly astonishing.

    Like Paul, who showed

    the example of a mentor

    like this, how many such

    mentors of faith exist,

    who try to discover

    the workers around us

    and develop the faith

    of one soul with

     constant passion?

    As the relationship

    between a teacher

    and a disciple like

    Paul and Timothy

    shows,

    sometimes it is

    desirable to keep in

    touch with each other,

    especially at important

    moments on the

    corners of life.

    In addition,

    I think it is important

    to continue to maintain

    a strong relationship

    by encouraging each other

    through conversations

    with the Lord,

    mutual interests,

    and general affairs

    of daily life.

    It is also important

    to strengthen our faith

    by meeting people

    with whom

    we have formed

    spiritual sympathy

    through similar religious

    careers.

It is not easy to meet

    co-workers who can

    communicate spiritually.

    Like the Apostle Paul,

    we must constantly ask

    the Lord to grant us

    the blessing of discovering

    and nurturing workers

    and sharing grace

    with each other.

    Relationships with

    these people are not

    limited to just one

     or two fellowships,

    but it is important to

    have an attitude to

    treat them with constant

    interest, to look after souls

    and to establish the roots

    of mutual fellowship

    in the Lord.

    Not everyone

    can stand alone.

As we go along the path

of our lives with the help

    of the Holy Spirit,

     we learn one by one

    in real situations or

      through interpersonal

    relationships.

    Seeing the workers

    everywhere taking

the role of light and salt,

    we have another hope.

    And we gain the courage

to go on the march of

    faith vigorously.

    So, what should

     we do today?

    1) What we need to do

    is to seek the capacity

    to accept the Lord's work,

    find workers, and have

      a spirit of self-discipline.

    2) We need to further utilize

and develop the gifts of God.

    Prayer

    Thank you Lord.

    Help me diligently find

    co-workers of faith in smooth

    interpersonal relationships

And lead us to bear fruit.

    Amen
