Have A Heart Of
Contentment 41
[1 Tim 6:6-10]

In order for a Christian
to maintain godliness
in this world, realistically,
above all else, he
must live with a heart
of contentment with
clear values.
Whenever there were trials
and tribulations in my life,
I remember being able to be
patient and be faithful
in my circumstances
without being discouraged
through the contentment.
However, although
I have a better life
than in the difficult days
of the past, but today
there are times
when I am even more
distressed by the obsession
to endure economic poverty
and still have to face the
insufficient reality.
Like 'Demas', I also find
myself struggling with
the idea of going back
to the world and doing
a relief project with
the abundant money
I would get from doing
various businesses.
The sense of comparison
and the desire for
achievement are weak,
but when
I reach the stage
of the contentment,
I recognize that
the heavenly Father
is with me, who gives me
more than I can afford
when I'm in need.
In order not to become
proud and arrogant
due to the abundance
of material possessions,
in the love of God who
is concerned about
the possibility of
forgetting God
by reaching
‘Canaan’ flowing with
milk and honey
- I am just moved by
the love he promises
every time,
and I promise to serve
the Lord better.
If so, how should we
deal with our lives
in the first place?
1) We must prioritize
a consistent life with
a clear view of faith.
2) We must live with
managership.
We must acknowledge
that all possessions
belong to God,
so we must live with
the concept of managing
God's material possessions.
3) We should try to save
material possessions
in everything and live
a frugal life.
In the providence of God,
there is nothing meaningless
given to us under the sun.
"I am not saying this
because I am in need,
for I have learned to be
content whatever the
circumstances.
I know what it is
to be in need, and
I know what it is to
have plenty.
I have learned the secret
of being content in any
and every situation,
whether well fed or hungry,
whether living in plenty
or in want.
I can do everything
through him who
gives me strength."
(Phil 4:11-13)
Therefore, I hope that
all of us will follow the Lord
and happily walk the
pilgrimage path,
following the example
of the apostle Paul,
who learned all the
secrets in life.
Prayer
Lord!
I thank you once again
for my recognizing that
God is the one who
always knows our
circumstances
and allows each one
of us to do everything
in the best way.
I get great comfort
and courage today
as I think of the
inheritance of the
kingdom of God
that will be finally
granted after training
us thoroughly in the
wilderness of life.
Therefore,
like the Apostle Paul,
allow us to be taught
all rhe secrets in life!
Please lead each one
of us to be a victor
who can overcome
reality and the
circumstances
entrusted to us
In the Lord!
