    Human Arrogance And

    Confusion of Language 19

    [Gen 11:1-26]

    / Anne's Faith Column

    / By Pastot Priscilla

    'In the beginning,

    the whole world had

    one language and a

    common speech.'

    However,

    when his creatures,

    humans dared to despise

    the Creator God

    and tried to make a

    name for themselves,

God, who was angry with it,

    saw their actions

    and confused their language

    and scattered them

    all over the earth.

    This human spiritual

    arrogance, rather, resulted

    in a confusion of language

    and it caused his creatures,

    humans to be scattered

    over all the earth.

    Even at this moment,

    God sees what we

    humans are doing.

    How infuriated he

    must be because he

    feels that our behaviors

    are so abominable!

    How many times have

    we acted humanistically

    to reveal ourselves

    even though we made

our mind not to be arrogant!

    We who have sinful nature

    pretend to act holy

    for the self- justification,

    try to conceal our shame,

    and don't admit our

    transgressions

    and mistakes willingly

    when the hidden

    problems are revealed.

    Also, most of our decisions

    are made by ourselves

    without asking before God.

    Even though we praise

the Lord with our lips, we

    repeate contradictory

    actions.

    We find ourselves

    moving according to

    our emotions withou

    t keeping order.

    Sometimes we feel

    uncomfortable when we

    think that our actions

    violate the rights of others,

    but we are too weak

    to manage self-pity,

    unspeakable skepticism,

     sighs, and intense feelings.

    Therefore,

    we have a tendency

    to hide ourselves.

    So how can we quickly

    get out of these lives

    and restore our

    relationship with God?

    1) We must show

    our love to God

    so that we can restore

     our relationship with God.

    2) We must obey

    and fear God more.

    3) We need training

    to control our

      own emotions.

    Therefore,

    we must come under

    the cross and humbly

    lay down our feelings

    and will before God.

    4) We must honestly

    declare our own mistakes

    and weaknesses

    before God,

    rely more on the Lord,

    and live by faith.

    Prayer

    Lord!

    We're full of thirst

    for yearning and

    compassion

    for the Lord.

    Please restore us back

    to the place of our

    first love with you

    quickly! Amen.

    Anne's Review

    How can we living

    in modern times

    interpret and accept

    human arrogance

    appeared in the Bible

    and the confusion of

    language caused by it?

    Also, how can humans

    recover from the relationship

that has been cut off with God?

    Since it becomes

    the central topic of

    the faith column that

    we should seriously

    think about today,

    I'm writing this article

    with the desire to seek

    reconciliation with the

    Lord first, while deeply

    anguish

    and meditating, hoping

    to get the answer.
