Wedding Planned In Heaven 88
/ "I Will Go!"
[Gen 24:50-67]

Marriage is a wonderful blessing
that God gives to mankind.
God's plan is to provide a
prosperous way in all things.
Marriage is a contract made
by the mutual agreement.
God had already planned
the marriage of Rebekah
and Isaac from a long time ago,
and when God's proper time came,
he prepared a new event for them.
The God of provision emphasized
lineage through Abraham
and wanted Isaac not to have a
worldly marriage that God hates.
Also, Abraham prayed that his
future daughter-in-law would
be the one God truly wanted,
and he repeatedly asked his
servant to do what he wanted.
This can be said to be the blameless
attitude of Abraham, the father of faith.
Abraham's consideration of
the marriage he was preparing
for his only son and his partner
showed us how much he
valued marriage.
In addition,
Abraham's faithful servant,
who received this request,
did his best, not even eating
food until he had completed
the mission his master had
commanded him to do.
In particular, after hearing
the servant's mission,
Rebekah without hesitation
said, 'I will go!'
Her swift and surprising decision
was prepared in God's providence.
After Isaac, Abraham's son,
also offered the sacrifice
of obedience to his father's will
to offer himself as a burnt offering,
God's blessing never left him.
As a result, he met a good bride
according to his father's earnest wish,
and a beautiful marriage was made.
In the life of faithfully
carrying out the tasks entrusted
to each of you, you will learn
the amazing lesson that
“they work together
for the good of God,”
and you can definitely feel
the providence and hand of God
that accomplishes the work
of salvation.
Above all, Rebekah must have
had her own view of marriage.
However, one day, she suddenly
made the decision to leave her
hometown, family and friends.
It would not have been easy
for her to decide to venture
into a new unknown world.
Nevertheless, without any further
doubts or hesitation, she bravely
and swiftly moved forward into
the life of her own choosing.
Today we need to pay attention
to Rebekah's attitude like this.
She knew what to choose
at the crossroads of her life.
In her situation, she first saw
the will of God and set her
heart in that direction.
We also hope for Jesus Christ
to come soon in the future,
and we must prepare to meet
the bridegroom on this earth.
In order to become true brides
of Christ, we must leave
everything to the providence
of the Lord and go step by
step like Rebekah.
When the Lord calls us, we
no longer have any regrets in
this world or waste our time and
our hearts in meaningless lives,
and we need an attitude to
put into practice the determined
will immediately at the moment
the Holy Spirit enlightens us.
Because of this, we absolutely
need a training course to discern
our environment spiritually.
Therefore, we should dress up
as brides and live with holy hope,
drawing in our hearts the image
of Heavenly Father who wil l
prepare the wedding feast in
order to welcome the second
coming of Jesus Christ,
the eternal bridegroom whom
we will surely meet someday.
What should we do for that?
1) We must be prepared.
Training courses on this land
should not be neglected.
2) We must always understand
God's will and live in obedience.
3) We must long for
Jesus, our bridegroom.
Prayer.
Lord.
My spouse, whom the Lord
has paired with me, is a suitable
helper whom God has planned
in advance and has been
approved on this earth.
Just like Jesus, who is gentle,
please lead us to respect
each other and make up for
each other's shortcomings
and make us perfect!
May we not have different
dreams in the Lord.
However, lead us to be
completely united as those
who have faith in Christ
and long for the same
hope at the same time!
Amen
