    Things To Forbidden

    In The Church 48

    [2 Tim 2:14-19]

     / Anne's Faith Column

    / By Priscilla

    Regarding what is

    forbidden in the church,

    the Bible tells us:

    In order to become

    God's workers

    without shame,

    in the church,

    we must accept

    the word of truth correctly,

lead a godly life of faith,

    and refrain from harsh

    words or actions or

    quarrels.

    Therefore,

    we must not quarrel

    about words in the

     church at any rate.

    Actions that are not

    good can lead to the

    ruin of even a small

    group or community,

    even a society or

    a nation.

    "Do your best to present

    yourself to God as

    one approved,

    a workman who does

    not need to be ashamed

    and who correctly handles

    the word of truth."

    (2 Timothy 2:15)

    What a precious

    scripture this is really!

     'Am I really a worker

    who does not need

    to be ashamed?

    'Am I confident

    that I am an approved

    worker before God?'

    Even if I ask myself

    these questions,

    I am lacking

    in everything

    and am filled with

    shame in my heart

    so apologize to

    the Lord.

    We make our decision

    to become workers

    without shame

    before God,

    and the more

    we try to keep it,

    I wonder why we fall

    into greater temptation,

    a snare, and lust.

    We find ourselves

    with a weak faith stumbling

    countless times a day,

    and we are terribly

    surprised at the

    current state

    of our faith.

    However,

    knowing that we are

as fragile as jars of clay,

yet we are children of God,

    we can gain the courage

    and comfort to rise

    again from the

    place we fell.

    God tells us through

    the Apostle Paul,

    “when I am weak,

    then I am strong."

    Moreover, he gives us

    courage by saying,

    'I can do everything

    through him who

     gives me strength'.

    So, since we confessed

    with our mouths

    that He is our Savior

    and received Him

    in our hearts,

    we must come before

    the throne of His grace

    as we are, as children

    of God.

    We must trust God

    as 'Abba Father',

rely on him like a baby,

    respond to the Word

    of God and obey him.

    So, we must live

    our life of faith with

     the following attitude.

    1) As children of God,

    we must absolutely

    refrain from speaking

     in vain in the church.

    2) They try to sneak

    into the community

    and slightly distort

    the truth of God to

    deceive the children

    of faith or lead them

    to depart from their

    faith.

    We must no longer

    be deceived by

    heretical sects,

    doctrines,

    and vain truths that

    try to corrupt the

    Word of God.

    3) For faith that does

    not fade every day

    and for deep fellowship

    with the Lord, we must

    pray earnestly.

    'Who can harm us

    if God is with us?'

    'Who dares to break

    the bond of love

    between God and us

    as His children?'

    With this boldness,

    we must live a life

    of faith.

    We should ask the

    Holy Spirit more

    and more in orde

    r to gain the power

    to discern the word

    of truth in the fullness

    of grace every day,

    and furthermore,

    in order not to disappoint

    our Heavenly Father.

    The Lord who said

    that the truth would

    I set you free!

    We want to enjoy

    freedom from being

    bound by the law

    in our faith.

    Imagine us walking

    together with the

    Lord in a more mature

    and sublimated life

    to a higher level!

    We should hope

    for the Lord while

    dreaming of a step

    higher in our faith

    maturity.

    But we cannot

    trust ourselves.

    This is because

    we are beings

    in the flesh,

    so it is difficult

    to control and

    eradicate the lust

    and primal and deep

    -rooted sinful nature

     that rushes in moment

    by moment.

    As such, our will is

    fragile and changeable,

    so only with the help

    and power of the

    Holy Spirit can we

    become powerful

    Christians

    who can overcome

    ourselves and the world.

    Therefore, we need to

    pray more to the

    Lord for the power

    of self-control

    so that we can

    live a godly life.

In order to live a life

    filled with the Holy

    Spirit every day,

    we must receive

    grace and refilling

    of the Holy Spirit.

    Also, we must strive

    to give ourselves

    completely to

    the Lord.

    Therefore,

    the Apostle Paul

    exhorts us to live

    in the present

    as follows:

    "Therefore,

    I urge you, brothers,

    in view of God's mercy,

    to offer your bodies

    as living sacrifices,

    holy and pleasing

    to God--this is your

    spiritual act of worship.

    Do not conform

    any longer to the

    pattern of this world,

    but be transformed

    by the renewing

    of your mind.

    Then you will be

    able to test and

    approve what God's will

    is--his good, pleasing

    and perfect will."

    (Romans 12:1-2)

    Prayer

    Lord!

    Thank you so much

    for guiding me to

    understand the grace

    of the Lord as the

    days go by.

    I beg you, through more

    life training, help us get

    out of shameful workers!

    Change us correctly

    so that we can become

    your precious workers!

    Amen.
