Endure Unfair Affairs 22
[1 Pet 2:20-21]

“But how is it to your credit
if you receive a beating
for doing wrong and
endure it?
But if you suffer for doing
good and you endure it, this is
commendable before God
.To this you were called,
because Christ suffered
for you, leaving you
an example,
that you should follow
in his steps.”
[1 Pet 2:20-21]
We who were once
sinners in the world!
We who were drifting
aimlessly without knowing
where to go by throwing
our bodies into the world!
However,
we received God's call
and have saved without
cost by His grace.
Now, there is something
God wants those who
have become His children
of the bright world to do.
God wants us to do
good even when faced
with unfair things.
And God wants us
to imitate Jesus and
follow his steps
and endure and be
patient with the time
when we are distressed.
That's why we must
live by knowing the
will of God,
that is, exactly
what the reason
is for being called.
This is because
it's the most beautiful
to trust in God and
obey by faith.
It is natural to have
punishment and
reward for sin.
But in some cases,
how many times has
the Christian life
of trying to be like
Jesus suffered from
the wrong gaze
of the world?
When faced with
such an unfair thing,
the following scripture
comes to mind.
"The crucible for silver
and the furnace for gold,
but the LORD tests
the heart."
(Psalm 17 : 3)
-The LORD tests the heart.
This is absolutely right.
Think of Jesus' love
for us, who suffered
unjust work
to save humans
and finally endured
suffering and ridicule
to pay for it.
How can we forget
his great love that
showed us the example
of faith by doing good!
Jesus sacrificed himself
on the cross because
he loved us immature,
lacking and unrefined.
God sometimes allows us
to go through unfair things
in the world to train
His chosen children.
In other words,
He grants us trials
in order to refine us.
How much patience
will it take to shape us
with the Lord's chisel
to make us beautiful
in the image of the Lord!
Also, at this time,
we can imagine how many
conflicts will follow us
as we endure the pain
of breaking our angular
character and the mental
distress that our ego
is shaved.
However, after the
process of pain has passed,
God's tests of the heart
will finally end.
Therefore, above all
- in 'Jesus Christ'
we must all do what
is good as He desires,
endure the sufferings
we are currently facing,
and race with patience.
The day when the glory
of God will come someday!
The day when we will enjoy
great joy in the kingdom
of God that cannot be
compared with the
current difficulties!
On that day!
The noonday sun for us
will shine so brightly.
We sincerely hope
that the day will come
to us in the future.
Also, our hearts will
fly like eagles with wings
of hope toward the
heavens of the Lord.
If you are currently
in the process of being
refined by the Lord like
gold being refined
in a furnace fire,
rather you should be
grateful for this precious
time of suffering that
you suffer through
the hammer and chisel
of the Lord who refines you.
Recognizing the hand
of the Lord who is still
refining our egos,
we feel the severe pain
of breaking our angular
egos in one corner
of our hearts.
Although we are still
immature and not
aware of it, we must
go out with faith to
realize the heart of the
Lord even more today.
Also, whenever we face
unfair things, we should
think of those as a process
of ego-breaking and seek
comfort, by following Jesus.
"May the God who gives
endurance and
encouragement give
you a spirit of unity
among yourselves
as you follow Christ Jesus,
so that with one heart
and mouth you may
glorify the God
and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ."
(Rom 15 : 5-6)
"But how is it to your
credit if you receive
a beating for doing wrong
and endure it?
But if you suffer for
doing good and you
endure it, this is
commendable
before God. !
To this you were called,
because Christ suffered
for you, leaving you
an example,
that you should
follow in his steps."
[1 Peter 2 : 20-21]
Prayer
Thank you God.
You've made each one of us
realize the deep meaning
of patience and the will
of you God.
Like gold refined
in a furnace fire...
When you test our hearts,
help each one of us not
to be discouraged.
When faced with unfair
things, help each one of us
not to have our hearts
stolen!
Rather, please let us
have each one of us
a hope that we can
endure even in
harsh environments!
Amen.
