Against God 119

[Hos 13:9-16]

To reject God is exactly to

reject the only hope in life.

 

 

"A wind from the LORD

will come, blowing

in from the desert;

 

 

his spring will fail

and his well dry up.

 

 

His storehouse will be

plundered of all its

treasures."

 

 

Just as the Israelites

dared to be against God and 

led the way to destruction,

 

 

God firmly warns us that

we should never follow

such a path.

 

 

  In conclusion,

he warns us,

 

 

"Do not be against

the LORD Almighty."

 

 

God is our Creator

and Judge.

 

 

Now, we must clarify

our position and attitude

and become more faithful

children of God before

the Lord.

 

 

Never be the one who

turns away from God,

who helps us.

 

 

Just as children often

recklessly throw tantrums

when they want something

from their parents,

 

 

we must not misinterpret

God-given 'free will'

and try to be against

God or act recklessly.

 

 

The outcome of Adam,

who disobeyed God

and was expelled from

the Garden of Eden,

 

 

eventually

became a person

 

 

who could never reap

a harvest unless he

toiled in the sweat

of his brow.

 

It is nothing but solitude,

wandering, and futility

caused by poverty,

 

 

curses, and mental

devastation.

 

 

Therefore,

we should not fall into

'nihilism' any longer,

 

 

but should prioritize our

commitment to serve

God with utmost sincerity.

 

 

Every day, we must value

a life that relies on Jesus Christ

 

 

and the Holy Spirit, a life 

that pursues the truth,

and no longer wander

and live with discernment.

 

 

The painful life that was

done with the wrong choices

of the past day should

 

 

no longer be repeated

in the rest of our lives.

 

 

Therefore, we must

firmly eradicate the sinful

nature of the first Adam,

 

 

the ancestor of mankind,

that remains in our hearts,

pray for spiritual discernment,

 

 

and thoroughly eradicate

arrogance from us.

 

 

In this philgrim's progress

towards the new heaven

and new earth God has

prepared for us,

 

 

we must await

the day of victory.

 

 

Until we will be able to see

the Lord whom we have

longed for, we must live

 

 

a life of loyalty without

giving up hope

 

 

that He will surely repay us

for the number of days

and years of suffering.

 

 

So what

should we do for this?

 

 

1) We must put a life of

obedience to God

first all the time.

 

 

2) We must never do anything

that dares to be against God

after you are born again.

 

 

3) We must never forget for

a moment the blessings of God

 

 

who delivered us

from darkness, wandering,

and mire, and give thanks to

Him all the time.

 

 

Prayer

 

 

Lord!

 

 

Only in front of me is the way

the Lord guides me into.

 

 

Please always keep

my heart so that I may

 

 

no longer tolerate the pain

of the sins I did in the past

without knowing You!

 

 

Amen.
