God, Who Is The
Sourse of Our Lives 104
[Hos 2:8-13]

If you are God's chosen people,
it is important to realize that the
sourse of your life comes
from God.
When God's chosen people
forsook God and worshiped idols,
God became angry and withdrew
the grace He had bestowed
upon them.
In particular, as God's chosen people,
it was human duty to live in fear of God,
but the Israelites easily betrayed God
and turned away from God and did
wrong when they became richer
and more abundant in their lives
and their problems were solved.
Gomer, an adulterous woman
who abandoned her husband
and left home.
Her husband, Hosea, who
did not punish her but went
around looking for her, forgave
her, and tried to keep her
conjugal relationship.
Through this, God teaches
His people about the relationship
between God Father and them
and tells them how He feels.
Likewise, God, who is so loving
and generous, does not reprove
His chosen people.
However, He constantly
wait for them in conciliation
However, to those who betray
God and do not repent of their
sins and do not turn from sins,
God warns them that God
will no longer be involved in
their lives, and that He will
cast them out eventually.
In fact, God reaffirmed that
all the sacrifices the Israelites
offered in worship of Baal
and everything they ate and
drank were nothing if it had
not been for God's permission.
When we see God's strong
will to sever the relationship
between Father and children
that had already been formed
without supplying all
the bountiful crops
and food, clothing, and shelter
they took in to His people
any longer, we can imagine
how brokenhearted He was.
We have already become
God's children by confessing
and accepting Jesus Christ as
our Savior so we never want
tragedies like this to
happen to us.
Instead, according to the
will of God, who said through
the lips of the prophet 'Samuel',
"To obey is better than sacrifice,"
we should become children
who give joy to our Father.
As Isaiah said, we easily
betray and disobey God.
"We all, like sheep,
have gone astray, each of us
has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all."
(Isaiah 53:6)
However, the Lord, who knows
that we have many faults and
weaknesses in our lives,
forgives the children who
turn from sins.
God wants us to break
away from the shameful
consciousness caused by
the sins of the past and
enter the bright path.
We must
truly love and fear God,
deeply realizing that the
sourse of all things comes
from God who created us.
To such a person, God
earnestly wants to
grant blessings.
God provides
us with every need.
However, as it is written in
today's scripture, we must
listen to God's warning that
His people will be punished
according to the number of days
they served Baal the idol without
listening to Him,
and realize that
this is the time we must
turn from sins.
In other words, we must
acknowledge that all sources
come only from God
and live a life of giving
thanks to God more.
Then, what kind of life
should we aim for?
1) We must live a life
that pleases God.
2) We must move more
faithfully and sincerely to God.
3) We must march toward
the face of God with faith,
without any further delay,
looking back, or hesitating.
Prayer
Lord!
I don't want to make
You brokenhearted
any more.
You are my beginning
and everything.
Help me, who
is so weak.
Amen
