Leadership And Mission98

 [Mal 2:1-9]

Leaders should be those

who fear God and show

people the right way.

 

God's covenant with the

Levites was a covenant

of life and peace.

 

The will of God who gave

this covenant to them was to

fear God well above and lead the

people as God's chosen

people below.

 

Nevertheless,

 

God rebuked them in

today's scripture

 

because

there were false leaders

who taught the wrong way

not to fear God.

 

It is not easy to go along as

a good spiritual leader.

 

Fearing God is the beginning

of human beings, so when we

consider the requirements

of a leader,

 

we need an attitude to look

back on ourselves. 

 

What do

we need as leaders, then?

 

1) There must be a law of truth

to know God, and we must

be faithful.

 

2) We must be free from

injustice based on honesty.

 

3) We must walk with

God in peace.

 

4) We must turn the people

away from their sins.

 

Therefore,

our lips as priests must 

preserve the knowledge of God

and lead people to seek instruction

from our mouths.

 

In the sight of God,

we should not be proud as leaders,

and we should not follow detestable

things for self-fulfillment or

depart from God's way.

 

The priest has a responsibility

as the messenger of the LORD

Almighty,

 

so we must make

continuous supplication

to God in order to fulfill that

responsibility.

 

The path of a spiritual

leader is a difficult one.

 

 

'Jesus Christ' who came to

this earth in the very nature

of a servant to save mankind

 

- Following his image,

we also need an attitude to

make ourselves nothing

 

and always renew our mind

to reveal God's heart and will.

 

People who meet good leaders

can live, and people who meet

bad leaders have no choice

 

but to go down the path

of destruction.

 

Terrible times in the last days

- Now it is the time for spiritua

l awakening again.

 

It's time to listen to God's Word,

correct our attitude, look back

on ourselves first, and

look around us.

 

So, how should we prepare

to become good leaders?

 

(1) We must ask the Holy

Spirit to be humble.

 

(2) In order to cultivate the qualities

of a leader, we must make ourselves

nothing so that we can know God more.

 

(3) Being called by God, I must

become myself who longs for

spiritual blessings above.

 

Therefore,

we should focus more

on fearing God.

 

(4) We must live our lives without

any favoritism and partiality. 

 

 

Prayer

 

Thank you, Lord.

 

Please lead me to become

a faithful leader who fears God,

puts the priority of life on

the truth of knowing God,

 

and lives only on the basis

of trusting and loving God!

 

So please help me not to forget

the mission all the time you

have granted me!
