All The Land That you See I Will
Give To You And Your Offspring
Forever! (An Inheritance)70
[Gen 13:10-18]

"Lot looked up and saw that
the whole plain of the Jordan
was well watered,
like the garden of the LORD,
like the land of Egypt,
toward Zoar.
(This was before the LORD
destroyed Sodom and
Gomorrah.)
So Lot chose for himself
the whole plain of the Jordan
and set out toward the east.
The two men parted company:
Abram lived in the land of Canaan,
while Lot lived among the cities
of the plain and pitched
his tents near Sodom.
Now the men of Sodom
were wicked and were
sinning greatly against
the LORD.
The LORD said to Abram
after Lot had parted from him,
"Lift up your eyes from where
you are and look north and
south, east and west.
All the land that you see
I will give to you and
your offspring forever.
I will make your offspring
like the dust of the earth,
so that if anyone could
count the dust, then your
offspring could be counted.
Go, walk through the length
and breadth of the land,
for I am giving it to you."
So Abram moved his tents
and went to live near
the great trees of Mamre
at Hebron, where he built
an altar to the LORD."
(Gen 13:1-18)
When God chooses humans,
he never looks at their
appearance.
When we
are obedient to God,
and when we realize and
confess our sins and
transgressions,
as far as the east is
from the west,
so far has he removed our
transgressions from us, and
he's willing to forgive us.
Since God is love itself,
He set the example through
Him Himself.
With a sinful nature, we find
comfort in such love.
Abram decided to separate
his nephew from him when
unwanted quarrels had
broken out between
Lot's herdsmen
and Abram's.
He showed the virtue
of doing good and yielding
to his nephew Lot to choose
the best thing first.
Lot chose to go to Sodom,
but he never knew it would
be the wicked city.
The LORD made a covenant
with Abram after Lot had
parted from him,
and said to him,
"Lift up your eyes from
where you are and look north
and south, east and west."
"All the land that you see
I will give to you and your
offspring forever."
"The LORD said to Abram
after Lot had parted from him,
"Lift up your eyes from
where you are and look
north and south, east and west.
All the land that you see
I will give to you and your
offspring forever.
I will make your offspring
like the dust of the earth,
so that if anyone could
count the dust, then your
offspring could be counted.
Go, walk through the length
and breadth of the land,
for I am giving it to you."
(Gen 13:14-17)
The scriptures above
are appropriate words of
grace given to us in such
a difficult time today.
God sees our obedience
and opens the door to the
environment for each of us!
We know that God's time
(Kairos) will come true
when the word is fulfilled.
Many hours of training
enable us to experience
that He is our good God
who sees and examines
our patience and
dedication.
Until that time comes,
we should exalt and
praise Him each day.
Now, like Abraham,
the father of faith, who
followed God with
only obedient faith,
we should look forward
to the invisible world
with hope in Him.
In this moment, God wants
each of us to grow the
faith in Him.
The Lord really wants
the same grace to come
to each of us, so he said,
'I will show you in love.'
The covenant God made
with Abraham was a hope
that would come true
someday.
Against all hope, Abraham
in hope believed and so
became the father of faith.
God said,
"All the land that you see
I will give to you and your
offspring forever."
Where on earth is the visible
land in our current situation?
What should we do in order to
discern the wonderful will
of the Lord?
1) We must believe that
the will of God who has ordained
us to do will surely come true,
and we must work hard to
accomplish His will doing our best.
2) In our religious life, like Abraham,
the father of faith, each of us
must become a person who
is willing to yield to others
in the Holy Spirit.
Prayer
Lord!
Since You give the best
of the best to each of us
at the right time, we advance
with hope and faith in You.
Lord!
You make each of us
in hope you grant us,
against all hope.
Praise you the Lord for
allowing us to live positively
without feeling human defeat,
with pride as children of God
who can receive an inheritance
that He will give us even
in the most difficult reality.
Amen
