    The Butterfly Under

    The Perseverance

    With Hope!

    / By Priscilla

    At one time,

    when I read a book

    titlled 'Giving hope

      to the flowers',

    my heart was

    so touched.

    While I see butterflies

    fluttering and

    flying freely,

    I think how long they

    had to endure and wait

    to become a swallowtail

    butterfly, or to be a

    yellow butterfly.

It is said that a caterpillar

    has to shed its skin

    as many as six

    or seven times

    in order to become

    a butterfly.

    I am so impressed

    to see the pupa

    hanging on a

    branch alone,

    acclimatizing without

    opposing nature.

    This is because

    the pupa, which patiently

    endures loneliness alone

    and waits for the day

    to become a butterfly

    to the end,

    without leaving

    its place as if obeying,

    maybe somehow

     doesn't look different

    from us believers l

    iving today.

    Just as a caterpillar

    endures trials,

    someday, we spiritual

    caterpillars,

    look ugly today,

    but will take off the

    skin of the present pupae

    and transform into

    new identities!

    In my eyes, it seems

    that the pupa hanging

    from the tree branch

    do not rebel against

    the given environment,

    do not go against

    the providence of

    nature, and endure

    well.

    Perhaps that's why

    I think it doesn't seem

    like something that

    has nothing to do

    with us.

    Maybe the pupa seems

    just like the appearance

    of us hoping for God

    and dreaming of a ne

    w transformation!

    Now it is the time

    to make a change

    in my identity,

    change in life,

    and change myself first,

    and because it is believed

that it is the time to

    have a new life,

    I am challenged

    by the way the pupa

    endures in its cradle,

    as if dreaming with

     hope for the future.

This is why I want to

    express the feeling of

    waiting to become

    a butterfly with the

    abstract painting

    I painted.

    It is believed that

    the appearance of butterfly

is much like that of us

     living today as believers.

    After receiving the Lord,

we must live by God's will,

    not by our will anymore.

    It is because I know

    for sure that

    in the Bible

    'Zechariah'

    (Zec 4 : 6-9)

    "Not by might

    nor by power,

    but by my Spirit"

    Only when our hearts

    that wait for that time

    become perfect without

    opposing God,

    but only obeying

    God's sovereignty

    just like everyting

    in the universe,

    we finally dream of

    the future and have hope.

    Then like a transformed

    butterfly, and like

    a beautiful butterfly

    whose soul is freed

    and flutters freely

    and gives hope from

    this flower to that flower,

    we will be  beautiful

    beings who will be

    remembered

    as God's people

    in front of God and

    in front of people.

    Even today,

    without exception,

    to the caterpillars

    which manage to endure

    with the hope of waiting,

    dreaming of a beautiful

    transformation that

     will come someday!
