The LORD God Almighty116

/ God Who Repays Us

According  To Our Deeds

[Hos 12:1-6]

Today's scripture tells us that

God Almighty is Sovereign LORD,

and he not only rules over all things,

but also controls human life.

God urged the Israelites

to return to him.

He is the LORD  God Almighty,

and repays them according

to their deeds'.

Therefore,

God tells us that his people

must maintain love and justice,

return to him, and live,

waiting for him always.

Without God, our lives

would be empty.

God wants His people to live

a valuable life of waiting for him.

Likewise,

it is very important for us to

have the right relationship

between God and

human beings.

How hard have I been trying to

maintain a right relationship

with God?

What is the purpose of my life?

What have I been hoping for?

Have I lived for my own honor,

status, or my own happiness?

Even though I returned to God

and gave up everything and left

myself to him,

how many times have

I tried to usurp God's precious

place by covering up his glory

for my own comfort?

How many times have I

rationalized this by saying it's

God's work before I know it?

However, as I gradually

re-recognize God,

I realize that I am nothing

and that I am a being

who must obey God.

And I want to be an

instrument that pleases

God in every manner.

Therefore,

we need an attitude of living

in the expectation that God

will accept our sincere petitions.

Here are some

attitudes of living we need.

1) Let’s trust and wait for

God more earnestly!

2) Always and everywhere

praise God and be faithful.

3) Let's ask the Holy Spirit to

make each of us an

instrument of peace.

Prayer

Thank you,

the LORD God Almighty!

We need true peace in you,

waiting for you always.

Please protect me

from my enemies.

Amen.
