Love  For Israel 97

[Mal 1:1-14]

God's love for Israel is different

from human way of love.

 

Humans are so foolish that they

do not know what to do in

order to worship  God.

 

God revealed His heart and

will mostly through prophets. 

 

 The prophets told Israelites

that God  loved them.

 

However, Israelites asked God

when and how He loved them.

 

God loves us just 

 the way we are today.

 

Just as he loved t

he elect, Israelites,

 

God loves us and reveals the

revelation of the Scripture to us

under the light of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our God, the Most High!  

 

God, who loves us forever,

wants our hearts to be sincere as

our sacrifices are like a clean

animal as a burnt offering.

 

God wants our hearts,

not any form.

 

Just as God

ignored burnt offerings

when they sacrificed crippled

or diseased animals,

 

He doesn't want someone

whose spirit is taken away

by the world.

 

Therefore, since those who

sacrifice thank offerings honor

 

Almighty God, He tells us

to come before Him with

a joyful spirit.  

 

Because we are His creatures.

 

Therefore,

we should go forward humbly,

giving thanks to God, who said,

 

“To obey is

better than sacrifice.”

(1 Sam 15:22-23).

 

So, we will have to look back

on all the works of God in the past.

 

Among the nations from the

rising to the setting of the sun,

controlled by Almighty God,

 

we have an obligation to glorify

God and sanctify His name.

 

So what should we do?

 

1) We should truly honor

God with our hearts.

 

2) We should become those

who offer sacrifices with

thanksgiving.

 

3) We must love God deeply f

rom the heart. 

 

Prayer

 

Lord!  

 

I stand before the Lord at this

time with a very troubled spirit.

 

Like God's love for Israel,

I am touched by the love that

has come to me  as a light by

helping and guiding me.

 

Please help me, 

help me out!

 

Amen
