Who You Are When

No One’s Looking?

/ To Become A

Mature Christian

/ Ann's Review

/ By Priscilla

I come to realize that

it is so useful for me to read

”Who Your Are When

No One’s Looking?”

Written by Bill Hibells.

This book presents me

how to adapt the practical

principle to my real life.

The unusual book title

also gave me some attractions,

so that I have read several times

with underlying the book

to take it as guides in my life.

In fact,

I think it is only character

that can be shown when

no one is looking.

As a christian, I want to

reach the mature belief.

To become a mature Christian,

I think we should have

8 temptations,

which can’t be made in a day,

so we should practice day by day.

How should we fulfil the Lord’s will?

The writer suggest wisely as follows.

We should have.

1. Good character

2. The courage to be a

member of God’s family.

3. The self-control to do

our park as God’s son.

4. The vision, to overcome

all the difficulties in the life

and watch the God work for us.

(The author especially

explain the vision very clearly

and sharply from different

points of view)

5. The patience, to share

the common life with others.

6. The love, to keep the family

in unite and show good

model of others.

7. The love with kindness,

strictness, sacrifice and power.

8. Christ’s character, which

should be transformed

through repeated disciplines

and deny ourselves everyday.

But it is the character that is

 the most important thing

among those temperaments.

If we welcome the Lord,

we are endowed with

Jesus’s character as a gift,

but we need practices to

bear  9 fruits of holy spirits,

which can’t be done without

the help of Holy Spirit.

Becoming a true son of Jesus

is not be born, but be made.

If you are willing to follow

his commands and obey

the Holy Spirit,

you should not be afraid

 to take disciplines with pain

 and without compensation.

I am praying to my Lord

with empty mind.

Hallelujah

Amen
